THREE THINGS THAT WORK TOGETHER

A clearer way to
understand telephony.

01 /

The number: how people reach you.

A DID is a public telephone number assigned to your business. It can route to a reception team, a shared queue, a PBX or a supported application flow. Every extension does not need a separate DID.

02 /

The trunk: how calls travel.

A SIP trunk is the connection between a compatible phone system and a telephone provider. It carries calls to and from the public network, with an agreed amount of simultaneous call capacity.

03 /

The PBX or application: what happens next.

Your call flow decides what a caller hears and who answers. Configure greetings, opening hours, destinations and a fallback so the number serves your business process.

CHOOSE YOUR CONNECTION

Keep what works.
Connect what’s next.

A Sayvona number
and calling connection.

Your plan includes one local number. Route it to your Sayvona PBX, contact centre or supported application. Add another public number at KES 1,500/month when a department needs its own line.

Incoming calls on this offer cost KES 1.00/minute. Outgoing Safaricom calls cost KES 3.20/minute. We confirm a separate tariff for your other destinations.

Estimate numbers and airtime

Your existing carrier.
A Sayvona call experience.

Bring a compatible SIP trunk to your Sayvona deployment. Your carrier continues to supply and charge for the number and telephone usage. Sayvona supplies the agreed software and any additional services.

We check SIP authentication, network access, caller ID, audio, routing and concurrent call limits. An existing contract or number does not automatically mean the carrier permits every connection method.

SIZE THE CONNECTION, NOT JUST THE TEAM

Fifty extensions.
How many calls
at once?

One public number can serve 50 extensions. If the incoming connection allows ten simultaneous calls, that is ten incoming callers in progress across the system. Callers waiting in a PBX queue also occupy capacity.

Numbers, extensions, named agents and simultaneous calls are counted separately. Include peak traffic, waiting callers, outgoing calls and external transfers when discussing the trunk.

Tell us the current setup and busiest period. We agree capacity, any associated charges and overflow handling before activation. The published per-minute offer does not include unlimited incoming minutes or unlimited capacity.

A CLEAR WAY TO GET STARTED

A familiar number.
A well-planned move.

01 /

Confirm the number and provider.

Tell us whether you need a new number, an existing carrier connection or a discussion about keeping a current number. We check the available options.

02 /

Agree the connection.

Confirm number rental, route tariffs, billing increments, activation, caller ID and capacity. Map incoming and failure destinations before sending live traffic.

03 /

Check the real call path.

Verify registration, two-way audio, incoming calls, outgoing destinations and transfers. Agree a cutover and fallback arrangement that fits the business.

BEFORE YOU MAKE THE CONNECTION

A few useful answers.

Talk it through
Can I keep my existing number?+

That depends on the current carrier and the routing or porting options available for the number. Share the provider and number type with us. We confirm feasibility before promising a move.

Do you supply numbers in every country?+

Number supply is confirmed by country, number type and use case. The published KES offer is for the initial local service. Tell us where you need a number and we will confirm availability and pricing.

What is charged when I forward a call to a mobile?+

A call arriving on a Sayvona number can create an incoming leg and a separate outbound leg when forwarded to a public mobile number. Each billable leg uses the appropriate tariff. Transfers that remain internal to the PBX do not create a public-network outbound leg.

Can I connect an existing PBX to Sayvona?+

A compatible PBX can connect through an agreed SIP endpoint arrangement. We review registration, authentication, caller ID, codecs, network access and the required number and calling configuration.

Will my number support SMS as well?+

Do not assume SMS is included with a voice DID. The number offer on this site covers voice calling. Additional messaging capabilities require separate availability and service confirmation.
